Nothing but blue skies part 2

Now back to the blue skies. You may be asking how did I get from blue skies to infinity to the creation of man back to blue skies. Well this has been written over the span of a couple days. The first day was fling to a conference in Dallas TX. After several days in a conference at the Potters House (manpower ), the Lord has revealed several new mysteries to me. It started with just thinking how wonderful the Lord was , how beautiful the creation He made is. Later continuing to learn about my manhood, my visions and dreams and why the Lord desires to talk with us so much. To finish it all up with the reason it all happened so the Lord could recieve all the Glory. Just like the story of Lazarus, Jesus did that to get glory for all the events that transpired. Ending up the weekend, we pushed to the purpose of prayer, to allow for our prayers to bring us to the point that we realize we can’t do it without Him. Many time we find we have to do more than pray we have to seek His face. In seeking His face, we find that we are in need of communicating with Him.  We need to allow ourselves to talk to Himself.

Nothing but blue skies

Have you ever wondered about how much volume is in the skies? I’m not to sure how you could even measure it. As I fly to Dallas looking out and looking over the blue skies with wisps of clouds, I was wondering how do we ever guage the volume. I love to think about those crazy kinda of things it takes my mind into an uncomprehendable state. It’s kinda like thinking about infinity. How long is infinity? We as humans we cannot fathom it. We are so time oriented. Our projects are based on a timeframe. We believe that everthing has to be completed in a timeframe. The Lord doesn’t base His time on our timeframes. His best work took what we call a week but do we really know? We are not even sure how long or how short of a timeframe it took the Lord. What we do know is that the Lord created man for a couple reasons. Two things that stick out in my mind are that He created us to dream and have visions to allow us to let Him ( the Lord) to communicate with Himself for Him to get all the glory.
Bare with me, First God created man to work. A job is not the work the we were created for. Adam was created to work in the garden. As in Gen 2:19, Adam named the animals as they were and that was what they were called. The reason Adam knew what to call them is because the Lord had breathed the breathe of Life into him and part of the Lord was in Adam ” let us create man in our image Gen 2:7″.  Now the Lord desires to talk with himself.
Now if the Lord created us to work and work means purpose. If we find our purpose, “our work”,  our purpose is to glorify the Lord God with all our heart, soul and mind. In doing this we relinquish our fleshly desires in order to allow the spirit, that God breathed into us to speak with Himself. When we permit ourselves to allow our inner spirit to truely communicate with the Lord , He communicates with Himself. Our decision to permit this communication pleases Him. It may not be the actual communication ( or it may be) but the fact that we allowed and made the choice to put Him first.

The Advantages to Diligence

Like rewards?  Do you like receiving Godly traits?  Well they are just two of the rewards of becoming Diligent in everything you do.  It isn’t easy due to the fact diligence goes against our natural Inclinations.  We do not want to strive and work hard for certain things in our lives unless we receive things or items from that hard work.  Often in todays society we have issues with not being compensated in a monetary way. We have raised our kids as we were raised that Money drives everything. It is true to a degree, Money Drives people, just in the wrong ways.  If we look at King Solomon’s life, he was driven by the act of diligence.  In his action we can see the advantages diligence will give you over the monetary things of this world.  

Diligence will give you sure advantage. Prov 21:5 says “The Plans of the diligent lead surely to advantage” So whatever you are being diligent in, will give you pure advantage over the circumstances in your life, in which you will become more productive and achieve greater things. I know in business, Sure advantage means a great deal.  I love having advantage.  I just have to remember its not for my glory but for His glory. 

You will be given control over your situation.  No longer will your situation have control over you. Prov 12:24 ” the hand of the diligent will rule, but the slack hand will be forced to labor.”  I know all to often I allow my situations to control me.  But no longer, I will stand firm against allowing my situations to control me. 

You will be given the desires of your heart.  Prov 13:4 says “the soul of the diligent is made fat.”  your inner most being is made complete.  Who you are, makes you the most complete being,  The way the Lord intended it to be.  Everything about your countenance,  is reflected when you are made whole. No longer are you unsatisfied, but made complete. 

Ever heard of the ole saying from Spiderman, “With great Power comes, Great responsiblity” Well “with Diligence produced in your life, comes great respect and authority” According to Prov 22:29 A diligent man will stand before kings.  We all know that many powerful people in this world have area of authority they have not earned, but yet there are so many the have been given the authority for a reason.  How great would it be to be recognized by a king.  In today society, I dont know very many kings,  I do know of many powerful and respectful people that I would be honored to stand before if given the opportunity.  More importantly, how great will it be to stand before the Lord most high and be held accountable for your diligence?  Pretty Sinkin’ Awesome to hear Him Say ”WELL DONE MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL FRIEND”

Diligence to the tenth power

Well sometimes diligence requires a multiplier. Sometimes we feel we need a divider to get more things done. When truthfully we need to multiply our diligence to one specific task. And in that one task we pursue excellence,integrity, rightness, and pureness. Our goal being that do what is right and pure, in accordance to His word.

Diligence…the Tough Idea

Well to say the least Diligence isnt a natural human tendency.  It isnt in our character to be diligent. Now Laziness, a non commitment attitude, instant Gratification, and selfishness are easy to do.  We all know that we can do these natural tendency without even thinking.  The past few weeks I have been studying diligence, I can  see the difference it makes in my day to day life.  Now it has not been easy. Its been rather tough but my sense of accomplishment  means so much more to me.  I seem to focus and look at things with a different perspective. I push myself to be diligent and prudent with my time and I become that much more effective.  Now I desire to share it with others so that they may wise and understand the true meaning of diligence. Defining Diligence….. that will be next time.

Ant Training

Ever wonder about why an ant does what an ant does? If you know much about the hierarchy of the ant civilization, and Ant has no one he reports to. He just does what an ant does best, stores up food.  King Solomon states the in Proverbs 6:6  Go to the ant, you sluggard and consider its ways and be wise.  Why would the Smartest man that ever lived, tell us to consider an ant’s ways?   Well the ant has no supervisor, manager, or an micromanager standing over it.  The ant knows his role and completes it. It has diligence to to define its goal and vision. From there it know that its mission is to gather food. Constantly gather food.   Look into your heart listen to the goals and visions God has given to you and consider the ant and its ways. King Solomon did and look where it got him.
